About Pure posey

Hey, I'm Jessica.

I'm a Christian homesteader, and someone who prefers a simpler way of living. I'm married and have two daughters. I live in Alabama where most of my days are spent taking care of animals, making things by hand, and trying to build a life that feels real and intentional. 

This didn't start as a business.  It started with me wanting better for my family and our home; Better food, simpler ingredients, and a deeper understanding of how things are made. That led me to raising animals, growing gardens, baking from scratch and learning as much as I could about becoming more self-sufficient. 

Somewhere along the way, Pure Posey came from all of that. 

My faith is the foundation of everything that I do. It is what guides how I live, how I treat my animals, and how I run this business. I believe in being a good steward of what I've been given and that means doing things with care. There's no big operation behind this or any goal of getting rich. I'm just trying to live a life that's honest, rooted in faith, and a little closer to the way things used to be. If I can teach others and share some of this along the way, then that's good enough for me.
